MEET CIELLE: 10 FUN FACTS ABOUT ME

My journey started in Beijing, where I grew up. I first ventured to Kentucky as an exchange student during my junior year of high school. Later, I pursued a bachelor’s degree in economics and management at a liberal arts college in Michigan. After graduating, I embarked on my career in New York. In 2021, I moved to Knoxville, Tennessee, and I’ve wholeheartedly embraced my new home.
Before I created Cielle Home, I worked at Goldman Sachs as a CPA for six years, my first and only job since graduating from college.
I’m particularly fond of classical music and jazz.
I have two unbelievably beautiful dogs – Artemis and Apollo. Artemis is a Vizsla girl and Apollo is a Dalmatian boy. They were born in 2020 and have been a big joy of my life.
In my free time, I love delving into topics like art history, medieval history, and even some philosophy – ‘The Prince’ by Machiavelli stands out as one of my favorites.
My first ‘job’ (full time internship in my senior year college) was as a tour manager for an international singers group that performed in 23 states in the US and Alberta, Canada within a 4-month period.
I can’t pick a single favorite color; I’m always fascinated by the interplay of various shades.
While I’m nervous about flying, my love for exploring new places and cultures always pushes me past that hurdle.
In my childhood, my favorite computer game was SIMS. What truly captivated me about it wasn’t just the simulations or the ability to assume various roles, but the endless possibilities it offered for building houses and experimenting with different layouts. It ignited my passion for the interior design world from a young age.
I appreciate fine and sophisticated things in life.
